Tender chicken, gooey mozzarella, and a crisp wrap come together in under 30 minutes for a quick and satisfying weeknight dinner.

  • 1 lb chicken breast, boneless and skinless, cut into thin strips
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh basil, marinara sauce for dipping, chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Arrange the chicken strips in a single layer and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until fully cooked and golden brown.
  3. Lay out the tortillas on a flat surface. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese in the center, followed by the cooked chicken. Sprinkle with fresh basil or chili flakes if desired.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly to create a sealed wrap.
  5. Mix olive oil with a pinch of garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush the outside of each wrap lightly with the mixture.
  6. Place the wraps seam-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 5-6 minutes, flipping once, until crispy and golden brown.
  7. Cut each wrap in half and serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping, or enjoy as-is!

Notes

Brush the wraps with olive oil for maximum crispiness. Avoid overfilling the wraps to ensure they seal properly. Work in batches if needed to prevent overcrowding in the air fryer.
