  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed and pounded slightly for even cooking
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound pasta, cooked according to package instructions
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with a pinch of salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the chicken and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, softened cream cheese, Italian dressing mix, and minced garlic until smooth.
  4. Lower the heat to medium and pour the sauce mixture into the skillet. Stir constantly until the cream cheese is completely melted, and the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, nestling it into the sauce. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through, until it’s fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  6. Meanwhile, cook your pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, serve it over the pasta and spoon generous amounts of sauce on top.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy!
