  • 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup (70 g) French fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Splash of Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the green beans by trimming off the ends and cutting them into bite-sized pieces. If using frozen green beans, thaw them beforehand.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch them for 3-4 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Add the blanched green beans to the mixing bowl and stir until they are evenly coated with the creamy mixture.
  6. Grease your 9×13-inch casserole dish with butter or cooking spray. Pour the green bean mixture into the dish and spread it out evenly.
