A chilled, sweet, and tangy apple cider sangria with cozy fall flavors, perfect for gatherings or relaxing autumn evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh apple cider
  • 1 bottle dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 1 cup spiced rum
  • 2 medium-sized apples, thinly sliced (Honeycrisp or Gala)
  • 2 medium-sized oranges, thinly sliced
  • 34 cinnamon sticks
  • 45 whole cloves
  • 23 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup club soda (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and thinly slice the apples and oranges. Leave the peels on for added color and flavor.
  2. Place the sliced fruit, cinnamon sticks, and cloves into your pitcher.
  3. Add the apple cider, white wine, and spiced rum to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Taste the mixture and add 2-3 tablespoons of maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter sangria. Stir until fully mixed.
  5. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours (or overnight) to let the flavors meld together.
  6. Right before serving, add 1 cup of club soda for a fizzy twist if desired. Stir gently and pour into glasses filled with ice.
