  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or parsley (optional)
  • Optional add-ins: cooked vegetables (spinach, mushrooms), cooked sausage slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 large eggs until smooth. Add melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
  3. Toss the leftover spaghetti into the egg mixture, coating all strands evenly.
  4. Fold in shredded mozzarella, half of the Parmesan cheese, and chopped basil or parsley if using.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese evenly across the bottom and sides of a 9-inch oven-safe pie dish or cast-iron skillet to form a crust.
  6. Spoon the spaghetti mixture into the prepared dish, pressing lightly to compact it.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, checking around 20 minutes to ensure the crust is browning but not burning.
