These festive party treats combine ultra-crispy pretzel crisps, creamy white chocolate, and crushed peppermint for a quick, crowd-pleasing holiday snack. Perfect for gifting, parties, or a sweet bite with your favorite winter drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pretzel crisps (thin, flat style, such as Snack Factory brand)
  • 10 oz good quality white chocolate (baking bars or melting wafers, such as Ghirardelli or Guittard)
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies (about 10 candy canes or 20 round mints)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • Pinch of sea salt flakes (optional, for sprinkling)
  • Red & white sprinkles (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients: Gather pretzel crisps, white chocolate, crushed peppermint candies, and any optional toppings. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Crush the Peppermint: Place peppermint candies in a zip-top bag and crush using a rolling pin or meat mallet. Aim for a mix of powdery bits and chunky pieces.
  3. Melt the White Chocolate: Break white chocolate into pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth. If using coconut oil, add now and stir until glossy. (Alternatively, melt gently over a double boiler.)
  4. Dip the Pretzel Crisps: Using tongs or a fork, dip each pretzel crisp halfway into the melted chocolate. Let excess drip off, then place on the lined baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle Toppings: Immediately sprinkle crushed peppermint and optional sea salt or festive sprinkles on each dipped crisp before the chocolate sets.
  6. Let Set: Allow crisps to set at room temperature for 15-20 minutes, or refrigerate for 10 minutes until chocolate is firm.
  7. Serve or Store: Once set, transfer crisps to a serving platter or airtight container. Enjoy or store for later.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality white chocolate and ultra-crispy pretzel crisps. Sprinkle toppings while chocolate is still wet for best adhesion. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 2 months. Easily adapted for gluten-free or dairy-free diets with appropriate ingredient swaps.
