A quick and easy smoothie bowl featuring fresh cherries, mixed berries, and cottage cheese, topped with edible glitter for a magical and Instagram-worthy breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries; fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup small-curd cottage cheese
  • 1 medium ripe banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • A pinch of food-grade edible glitter
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and pit 1 cup of fresh cherries, removing pits carefully.
  2. In a high-speed blender, combine pitted cherries, mixed berries, cottage cheese, sliced banana, almond milk, and chia seeds. Add honey or maple syrup if desired.
  3. Blend on high for 45-60 seconds until creamy and smooth, adjusting thickness with more almond milk or fruit as needed.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary, blending again briefly after adjustments.
  5. Pour the smoothie mixture into wide, shallow bowls.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of edible glitter over the top and garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few whole berries.
  7. Serve immediately for the freshest flavor and best texture.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness and creaminess. Adjust liquid quantity based on fruit ripeness and moisture. Use food-grade edible glitter only. For a colder bowl, freeze banana and berries ahead of time. Cottage cheese can be swapped with Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt for a tangier or vegan version.
