Crispy, golden chicken tenders infused with bold garlic and Parmesan flavors, perfect for dinner or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh chicken tenders or sliced chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare three coating stations: one bowl with flour, salt, and pepper; a second bowl with beaten eggs; and a third bowl with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Dip each chicken tender into the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks.
  4. Place the coated tenders on a parchment-lined baking sheet or wire rack over the sheet for extra crispiness.
  5. Lightly spray the tenders with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, or air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
  7. Let the tenders cool for 2-3 minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

For extra crispiness, use a wire rack when baking. Freshly grated Parmesan is recommended for maximum flavor. Flip tenders halfway through baking for even browning.
