These baked brie bites combine buttery phyllo, creamy brie, and sweet jam for a crowd-pleasing appetizer that’s easy to make and elegant to serve.

Ingredients

  • Pre-made phyllo cups
  • Brie cheese
  • Jam or preserves (raspberry, apricot, or fig)
  • Honey
  • Chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or pistachios)
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the phyllo cups on the baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  3. Cut the brie into small cubes, about 1-inch in size, and place a cube into each phyllo cup.
  4. Add a dollop of jam or preserves on top of the brie in each cup, about 1/2 teaspoon per cup.
  5. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the jam for crunch and visual appeal.
  6. Optional: Add a small sprig of fresh thyme or rosemary on top of each bite.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the brie is melted and the phyllo cups are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and drizzle honey lightly over each bite while warm.
  9. Let them cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm but not piping hot.

Notes

[‘Choose a creamy brie for the best melting results.’, ‘Avoid overfilling the cups to prevent spills in the oven.’, ‘Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.’, ‘Keep an eye on the phyllo cups while baking as they can brown quickly.’, ‘You can assemble the bites ahead of time and bake them right before serving.’]
