Indulge in rich, creamy pumpkin-infused Oreo balls coated in chocolate and topped with autumn spices. A quick, no-bake dessert perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 regular Oreos, crushed into fine crumbs
  • 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 12 ounces melted chocolate (milk, dark, or white)
  • Optional toppings: crushed Oreos, sprinkles, or pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they turn into fine crumbs. Alternatively, use a resealable bag and a rolling pin for crushing.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs, softened cream cheese, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Use a cookie scoop or a tablespoon to portion out the mixture. Roll each portion into a ball using your hands. Place the balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the tray of Oreo balls for at least 20 minutes to firm them up.
  5. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until completely melted.
  6. Use a fork or dipping tool to coat each chilled Oreo ball in melted chocolate. Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing them back on the parchment-lined tray.
  7. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle crushed Oreos, sprinkles, or a pinch of pumpkin pie spice over the top for decoration.
  8. Refrigerate the coated Oreo balls for another 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened completely.

Notes

[‘Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling.’, ‘Chill the Oreo balls before dipping them in chocolate to prevent them from falling apart.’, ‘Melt chocolate gently to avoid burning; add a teaspoon of oil if it seizes up.’, ‘Customize the size of the balls and adjust chilling time accordingly.’, ‘Sprinkle toppings quickly after dipping as the chocolate hardens fast.’]
