A buttery, flaky crescent dough filled with juicy turkey and tangy-sweet cranberry sauce, perfect for cozy gatherings and festive feasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 ½ cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: Fresh parsley or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Open the cans of crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Lay them out in a circular pattern on the baking sheet, with pointed ends facing outward and overlapping the wide ends to create a solid ring in the center.
  4. Spoon the turkey mixture evenly onto the wide ends of the dough triangles.
  5. Fold the pointed ends of the triangles over the filling and tuck them under the wide ends to create the crescent ring shape.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Sprinkle fresh parsley or rosemary on top before serving, if desired.

Notes

[‘Keep the crescent dough cold for easier handling.’, ‘Avoid overfilling the dough to prevent splitting during baking.’, ‘Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.’, ‘Customize the filling with green onions, walnuts, or cinnamon for extra flavor.’, “If the top is golden but the bottom isn’t fully baked, cover the ring with foil and bake for a few more minutes.”]
