These playful s’mores turkey leg treats combine gooey marshmallows, crunchy graham cereal, and creamy chocolate, all shaped into whimsical turkey legs with pretzel ‘bones.’ They’re quick to make, crowd-pleasing, and perfect for parties or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows (about 200g)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (56g), cut into pieces
  • 5 cups golden graham cereal (120g)
  • 12 pretzel rods, broken in half
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips (340g)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (85g), melted (optional, for bone tips)
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil (optional, for smoothing chocolate)
  • Mini marshmallows (extra for garnish, optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional, for garnish)
  • Peanut butter chips (optional, swap for chocolate chips for a nutty twist)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir constantly until smooth and fully melted (about 3 minutes).
  2. Remove saucepan from heat. Pour in golden graham cereal and stir quickly until every piece is coated and the mixture is sticky but not runny. If dry, add more marshmallows.
  3. Let mixture cool for 2-3 minutes. With lightly greased hands, scoop out about 1/3 cup of mixture and shape it around half a pretzel rod, forming a drumstick shape. Make about 12 legs.
  4. Arrange treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet. If mixture sticks to hands, spray palms with cooking spray or rub with butter. Repeat until all legs are formed.
  5. Optional: Chill baking sheet in fridge for 10 minutes to help treats firm up.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt milk chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Alternatively, melt over a double boiler.
  7. Dip the ‘meaty’ end of each turkey leg into melted chocolate. Use a spatula to smooth coating if needed. Return to baking sheet.
  8. For extra cuteness, dip exposed pretzel ‘bone’ tip into melted white chocolate. Let chocolate set, about 15 minutes (or chill in fridge).
  9. Optional: Sprinkle with mini marshmallows or festive sprinkles before chocolate sets. Drizzle with additional chocolate if desired.
  10. Serve once chocolate is set. Best served fresh, but keeps well for a few days.

Notes

For gluten-free treats, use gluten-free graham cereal and pretzel rods. Grease hands before shaping to avoid sticky mess. Chill treats before dipping for easier chocolate coating. Customize with different cereals, chocolates, or seasonal spices. Store in airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to a month.
