Tangy whipped feta paired with caramelized roasted grapes on crispy crostini makes for an easy, elegant appetizer perfect for parties or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups red or black seedless grapes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 1 baguette, sliced into thin rounds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, for brushing
  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional garnish)
  • Crushed walnuts or pecans (optional garnish)
  • Honey drizzle (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the grapes with 1 tbsp olive oil, honey (if using), and a pinch of salt. Spread them on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the grapes are soft and slightly blistered. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  3. Arrange the baguette slices on a separate baking sheet. Brush each slice with a bit of olive oil. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Set aside to cool.
  4. In a food processor or blender, combine the feta cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, and garlic (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy. Season with black pepper to taste.
  5. Spread a generous layer of whipped feta onto each toasted baguette slice. Top with a few roasted grapes.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves, crushed nuts, or a light drizzle of honey for extra flavor and visual appeal.
  7. Arrange the crostini on a serving platter and enjoy!

Notes
