Friendsgiving charcuterie board - featured image

A festive and easy-to-assemble charcuterie board featuring a balance of sharp cheeses, cured meats, and fresh fall harvest fruits like pears and apples. Perfect for holiday gatherings, this no-cook recipe comes together in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Sharp Cheddar, cut into cubes or sliced
  • 1 small wheel (8 ounces) Brie or Camembert
  • 4 ounces Manchego, sliced
  • 6 ounces Salami or Soppressata, folded or rolled
  • 4 ounces Prosciutto, torn into pieces
  • 2 medium Pears, sliced
  • 2 medium Apples, sliced
  • 1 cup Grapes, red or green
  • ½ cup Cranberries, fresh or dried
  • 2 boxes assorted Crackers
  • ½ cup Walnuts or Pecans, toasted
  • ½ cup Honey or Fig Jam

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruits and vegetables by washing and slicing pears and apples into thin wedges or cubes. Leave grapes on the vine if possible. Pat fresh cranberries dry. Set aside in small bowls or on the side of the board.
  2. Arrange the cheeses on the board. Place the Brie wheel (whole or wedges) near the center. Arrange cheddar and manchego slices in a fan shape or stack them neatly, leaving space between items.
  3. Place the meats in the spaces between the cheeses. Fold or roll salami and prosciutto to create visual interest and texture; do not lay them flat.
  4. Add the crackers and bread along the edge of the board, stacking or fanning them out to leave room for other items.
  5. Fill in any empty gaps with nuts, dried fruits, and olives. Scatter fresh cranberries and grapes around the board to balance colors and textures.
  6. Place small bowls of honey, fig jam, or mustard on the board with serving spoons. Drizzle a little honey over the cheese for an extra touch of sweetness.

Notes

Let cheeses sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving to enhance flavor and texture. If making ahead, keep fresh fruits separate and add them right before serving to prevent browning or sogginess. Keep the board in a cool place until ready to serve.
