A rich, airy pumpkin spice cold foam made with heavy cream, pure pumpkin puree, and warm spices, served over chilled cold brew coffee for a perfect autumn treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 cups cold brew coffee or concentrate, chilled
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon pure pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or alternative sweetener)
  • Extra pumpkin pie spice for garnish
  • Caramel drizzle for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour the chilled cold brew coffee over the ice until the glass is three-quarters full.
  3. In a small mixing bowl or tall cup, combine heavy cream, whole milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and sweetener.
  4. Whisk ingredients together gently with a spoon to dissolve sugar and blend spices.
  5. Using a handheld frother, whip the mixture for 30-45 seconds until soft peaks form. Do not over-whip.
  6. Slowly pour the whipped foam over the back of a spoon onto the surface of the iced coffee.
  7. Dust with extra pumpkin pie spice and drizzle with caramel if desired.
  8. Serve immediately with a long spoon or straw.

Notes

Ensure all dairy ingredients are very cold for best whipping results. Use 100% pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling. The foam is best consumed within 15 minutes of preparation. For a dairy-free version, use chilled full-fat coconut cream.
