A cozy, fall-inspired brunch cocktail featuring chilled apple cider and dry prosecco, served in glasses rimmed with cinnamon sugar for a sweet, spicy, and crisp experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh, unfiltered apple cider
  • 1 bottle (750ml) dry prosecco (Brut)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges for rimming)
  • Fresh apple slices (for garnish)
  • Vanilla extract (optional, a few drops)

Instructions

  1. Chill wine glasses in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until evenly distributed.
  3. Remove a chilled glass from the freezer and run a lemon wedge around the outer rim to moisten it.
  4. Dip the rim of the glass into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, twisting gently to coat evenly, then tap off excess.
  5. In a large chilled pitcher, combine the chilled apple cider and dry prosecco using a 1:1 ratio (or 1:2 for a stronger wine kick).
  6. Pour the mixture slowly into the prepared glasses, filling them about 3/4 full to preserve bubbles.
  7. Garnish with a thin slice of fresh apple and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are very cold to maintain carbonation. Do not over-mix the drink to preserve bubbles. The cinnamon-sugar rim should be applied just before serving to prevent it from dissolving. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute prosecco with sparkling grape juice or non-alcoholic sparkling cider.
