A cozy, balanced cocktail featuring silver tequila, fresh apple cider, and lime, finished with a savory-sweet salted cinnamon rim. Perfect for quick weeknight relaxation or small gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 oz Silver Tequila
  • 2 oz 100% Pure Apple Cider
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.5 oz Orange Liqueur (e.g., Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • Sea Salt and Ground Cinnamon (for rimming)
  • Ice (large cubes preferred)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rim: Mix sea salt and ground cinnamon on a shallow plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of two rocks or margarita glasses to moisten, then dip into the mixture to coat evenly. Set aside.
  2. Measure ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 oz silver tequila, 2 oz apple cider, 1 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz orange liqueur.
  3. Shake: Fill the shaker with ice. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until the shaker feels cold to the touch.
  4. Strain and serve: Place a Hawthorne strainer on the shaker and pour the mixture into the prepared glasses over fresh ice.
  5. Garnish (Optional): Add a thin slice of apple or a sprig of rosemary to the rim if desired.

Notes

For best results, chill your glasses in the freezer for 15 minutes before making the drink. Use fresh lime juice rather than bottled for better flavor. If the cider is very sweet, add a splash of soda water to lighten it. For a non-alcoholic version, omit the tequila and orange liqueur, increasing the cider to 3 oz.
