Halloween Charcuterie Board - featured image

A stress-free, no-bake Halloween snack board featuring a mix of sharp cheeses, salty crackers, and festive candy corn. Perfect for parties or last-minute cravings, this board comes together in under 20 minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese, cubed or sliced
  • Cream Cheese, softened
  • Brie Cheese, wheel or wedges
  • Pepper Jack Cheese, sliced
  • Pretzel Sticks
  • Assorted Crackers (square, round, or spiderweb-shaped)
  • Popcorn (plain or caramel coated)
  • Rice Cakes (small or mini)
  • Candy Corn
  • Chocolate Covered Raisins or Apricots
  • Marshmallows (large or mini)
  • Orange Jelly Beans or Gummy Worms
  • Olives (pitted and stuffed)
  • Salami or Pepperoni (folded or rolled)
  • Beef Jerky (cut into strips)
  • Pickles (small gherkins or spears)

Instructions

  1. Place your board or platter in the center of the table. Strategically place small bowls or ramekins around the board to create height and visual interest.
  2. Cut cheddar into cubes or slices and arrange them in clusters. Place the brie wheel in the center or to one side. Slice pepper jack thinly and drape it over other cheeses to create distinct zones.
  3. Lean crackers against the cheese or lay them flat in gaps. Bundle pretzel sticks or scatter them loosely. Fill empty spaces with popcorn or rice cakes.
  4. Fold salami or pepperoni into rosettes or rolls and place near cheeses. Add olives and pickles in small piles to balance sweetness with salty elements.
  5. Pour candy corn into gaps between savory items. Add marshmallows, jelly beans, and gummy worms, scattering them randomly for a natural look.
  6. Step back and assess the board. Add extra pretzels or candies as needed to ensure the board looks inviting and accessible. Ensure serving utensils are available.
  7. Serve immediately at room temperature. If made ahead, keep in the fridge and let sit for 30 minutes before serving to allow cheese to soften.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use rice crackers or almond flour crackers. For dairy-free, use vegan cheese slices. If adding fresh fruit like apples or pears, add them right before serving to prevent browning. Do not put wooden boards in the dishwasher; wash by hand and dry immediately. Oil occasionally with food-safe mineral oil.
